Our Look Keo Fit pedal analysis system can make injuries a thing of the past. You see, with the advent of clipless pedals, you are now stuck in a position on the bike. This means that your body has to twist and contort itself to produce a simple action such as turning your pedals in a circle.
The problem with this comes about when your pedals are not set correctly for you it means that your foot is twisted in a way that is harmful to your body and it can work it's way up your body too. The chain of events can be any, some or all of the following

Your cleat is not positioned properly so your foot is twisted in the pedal

Your ankle has to rotate inwards or outwards to accomodate the alignment of your foot and can cause the ligaments in your ankle to overwork and become inflammed

Your shin bone twists to accomodate the way your ankle has to align itself. This causes the joint in your knee to start moving up and down in the wrong way which can lead to, in some cases, severe pain in or around your knee

Your pelvic has to tip forwards or backwards to bring your hip into a position where your knee can do it's job. This can cause hip, back, groin and gluteal pain amongst other things
And all of this can happen just because your feet aren't properly aligned on the pedals! In fact, many cycling injuries occur this way, especially since cycling is such a repetitive sport.
